An event every week that begins at 12:00 am on Tuesday, repeating until 28/05/2019
Every Tuesday in May you have the opportunity to try a Free Lifestyle assessment with Coffs Coast Sports Physiotherapy Woolgoolga
Come in to Coffs Coast Sports Physiotherapy and discuss your health with their experienced Exercise Physiologist. We will undergo a Lifestyle Assessment to help you better understand your current health status.
Type 2 diabetes, heart disease and stroke can be prevented or delayed if you work to lower your risks. You cannot change your age, gender or ethnicity but you can change some lifestyle risks including:
· being overweight or obese with a large waist size
· lack of physical activity
· having an unhealthy diet
· high blood cholesterol
· high blood pressure
Being active, maintaining a healthy weight and eating healthy and balanced meals can are just some of the simple lifestyle changes you can make to reduce your risk.
There’s a strong link between diabetes, heart disease and stroke – people with diabetes are up to four times more likely to develop heart disease and stroke. This means that by reducing your risk of type 2 diabetes you may also significantly contribute to the prevention of heart disease and stroke.
