At recent meeting of the Council the Councillors voted in favour of a motion to reduce the services provided by the Economic Development Unit ('EDU') and Coffs marketing. From the information I have received our local Councillor John Arkan voted in favour of this motion along with Nan Cowling, Rodney Degens and Sally Townley.
In 2013 Woolgoolga Curryfest is growing bigger and better. We’ve returned to the streets with the closure of Beach St and we’ve accepted a record number of stalls! Over 11,000 people are expected to attend and the buzz on the Coffs Coast and Northern Beaches is that it is set to be the best one yet! Hope to see you there!

Woolgoogla Central and Woolgoolga and Northern Beaches Chamber of Commerce invite the public to enter this exciting new photo competition.
This has been designed to involve the community in updating our old information signage. We may also use images for the highway sign when it is redesigned.
The competition is open to all.

Woolgoolga has lots of room for improvement when it comes to business growth and the only way to make your desires a reality in this vibrant seaside community is to be an active part. March this year will see the appointment of a newly elected executive committee to carry on the projects and desires of the local businesses from years gone by and initiation of projects to come.
This year will be crucial in determining the outcomes of the highway bypass and how we market our little 'burb. We will also be seeing the results of a more 'community run' Curryfest 2013.
